A very warm welcome awaits at our former English Gentleman's Country House situated right on the banks of the River Torridge in North Devon. Ideally situated to explore the surrounding coastal beaches, country houses and beautiful gardens. The famous South West Coastal Path runs right past the hotel at the bottom of our gardens.
"We hope to see you in the near future"
Spoilt for choice…
Many of our 10 individual rooms have magnificent and uninterrupted views over the River Torridge and beyond. Some rooms even have their own balconies to sit out and relax as you watch the boats go by. In our lounge you can enjoy a refreshing drink from our well stocked bar before you retire to your individually decorated and eclectic rooms.
“Thank you so much for the amazing weekend :). We love your lovely hospitality and beautiful views. We cannot wait to come back in summer”
Fit for a king!
You breakfast will be served in our light-filled breakfast room with stunning views across the river. We offer freshly prepared traditional English Breakfast cooked to order using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
We offer plenty of choice and variety to set you up for the day with what is probably the best breakfast in North Devon 'fit for a king'!….
"Stayed 4 nights in Hubba stone room with balcony looking over the beautiful and peaceful gardens. The owner and all staff are very friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. Very clean room with all you need. Views of the estuary with all the wading birds including cranes and ibis. Coastal path from hotel for a lovely walk into Bideford. A perfect place for relaxing with nature. Sad to leave".
