Food by season

The seasonally appropriate 'Chef's Collection' Menu is freshly prepared daily with locally sourced produce. Fish from waters around Lundy Island is the finest local catch, infused with organic herbs from our vegetable garden.

The 'Chef Proposes' Menu changes frequently and is used to introduce original dishes with an element of fun and flair. Devon reared beef and lamb feature regularly.

The menu is complemented by an international wine list. Coffee and a selection of teas are served in the lounge where a glass of port may also be enjoyed.

In the morning, ease into your day with a leisurely Traditional English or Continental breakfast, and read your morning paper whilst watching the sun rise over the river Torridge.

Open to residents and non-residents

The restaurant is open to residents and non-residents. Breakfast is served seven days a week, dinner is available Monday to Saturday. Please enquire for private hire or booking parties, receptions and formal occasions. Individual menus can be arranged at request.

Reservations must be booked in advance.

Unfortunately we do not accept children under the age of ten.
Dress code is smart casual (no shorts for dinner).
